Linda and Vincent McGrath Kappa Delta Pi Scholarship

The applicant must be a full-time student enrolled at MSU. The applicant must be an active member of Kappa Delta Pi, Theta Chi Chapter 214. The applicant must be a junior or senior undergraduate majoring in Secondary Education with the Department of Curriculum & Instruction, or a student seeking a teacher certification in the School of Human Sciences or the Department of Kinesiology. Scholarship application and guidelines will be available in the College of Education Dean’s office, as well as the two above mentioned departments. Scholarship applicants are to be reviewed by a screening committee of the Theta Chi Chapter Counselors and the other C&I faculty at the discretion of the Department Chair. The scholarship will be awarded on a semester to semester basis. A student who is the recipient one semester is eligible for consideration the following year or after the completion of two semesters; however the student must again comply with the selection criteria.
