Dr. Donna L. Clevinger Scholarship for Creative and Performing Arts

1. Candidates must have demonstrated an interest in the creative and performing arts before enrolling at Mississippi State University and have expressed the desire to participate fully in activities that support the creative and performing arts in the Shackouls Honors College.
2. Preference should be given to first-semester full time-freshmen at Mississippi State University in the Shackouls Honors College. In the event there is not a freshman meeting the criteria, the scholarship may be awarded to a first-time transfer student enrolled in the Shackouls Honors College.

The DR. DONNA L. CLEVINGER ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP FOR CREATIVE AND PERFORMING ARTS will be given to students in the Shackouls Honors College enrolled in a major which is specific to creative expression in such fields as art, dance, music, theatre, playwriting, filmscript writing, film production (activities resulting in performance or exhibition), or the teaching of the creative and performing arts. This scholarship is not intended to support non-performance activities such as creative writing.
