Candidate must have demonstrated talent in creative writing and wish to study creative writing as well. Student must be enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.

  1. Please submit a letter explaining why you are applying for this scholarship. This letter should summarize your writing experience and outline your goals, even if they are tentative, and should be well written since it will be taken as indicative of your writing ability.
  2. Please submit an original manuscript consisting of at least 10 and no more than 30 pages of fiction or poetry or both. Poems should be single spaced; prose should be double spaced.
