Howell H. & Elizabeth S. Gwin Endowed Scholarship

Candidates who are beginning graduate students in the English department are eligible, and undergraduate juniors and seniors in the English department are eligible for the scholarship. Candidates must submit two critical essays (one of which must be documented) which the applicant has submitted as part of his or her undergraduate course requirements. Candidates must also submit three letters of recommendation from persons familiar with the applicant’s academic performance.
