Distinguished Young Women Scholarship

This application is for spring 2024 entering freshmen

The Distinguished Young Women Scholarship is awarded to entering freshmen who win at the local or state level of the Mississippi Distinguished Young Women Program. Local program winners are eligible for a one-time award of $1,000. State program winners are eligible for a one-time award of $5,000. Students must have a 9th-11th grade GPA of 3.0 as computed by MSU. Students must be a Mississippi resident. Students must submit the name and email address of the local chairperson of their county’s Mississippi Distinguished Young Woman Program to verify their program placement.
