The Lieutenant Colonel Michael L. James Leadership and Service Endowed Scholarship

1. Preference will be given to African American students
2. Min GPA 2.75 GPA
3. Active membership in a community service-oriented organization (i.e. Fraternity, Sorority, Non-profit, Church/Religious Organization, etc.) and minimum of 40 hours of documented unpaid volunteer community service work.
4. Three (3) letters of recommendation (focused on nominee’s record of leadership and/or community service).
5. Demonstrated financial need.
