Nancy and Doug Todd
Nancy and Doug Todd have resided in the northern Virginia area for many years although Nancy grew up in Canton, MS. She is a lifelong MSU fan and proud alumna, graduation with a BS in English Education in 1975. Doug comes from Long Beach, CA and still strongly supports his alma mater, USC, but he has become a very enthusiastic fan of the Bulldogs over the years. When their only son John decided to leave Arlington, VA, to attend State, his parents’ support of MSU became even stronger. John graduated in 2015 in Sports Studies and currently works for SIS, a sports analytics company in PA.
Nancy spent her career teaching, working in marketing for BellSouth in Jackson, and as a staff member for three Mississippi Members of Congress in Washington, DC. Doug is retired from governmental affairs positions with Northrop, Battelle, and Siemens Corporation. A favorite travel destination for them is Starkville for ballgames and to connect with old and new friends from years of attending and supporting State. Because of their rich history with the Maroon and White family, the Todd family is pleased to help make it possible for deserving students from Nancy’s hometown of Canton to enjoy the same fine education at Mississippi State while developing their own lifelong friendships and making their own special memories.
