Lesley Andress Davis and Dr. John D. Davis, IV

Lesley and John Davis reside in Flowood, MS. They both graduated from Mississippi State University, Lesley in political science in 1989, and John in pre-med/biological engineering in 1988. Lesley received her JD from the University of Baltimore School of Law, and John received his MD and MHS degrees from The Johns Hopkins University. John was chosen as a Distinguished Fellow of the Bagley College of Engineering in 2013, and he was a 2017 MSU commencement speaker. He is a neurosurgeon and founding partner of NewSouth NeuroSpine, and he currently serves on the MSU Foundation Board. Lesley was an Associate Prosecuting Attorney in DC, and she became a partner in the law firm, Mason, Ketterman, and Morgan in Baltimore. She serves on both the MSU Alumni Advisory Board and on the MSU Honors College Board. During college, she was a starting guard on the MSU Lady Bulldog basketball team, and she served as SA Attorney General. She was elected MSU Homecoming Queen in 1988, and she was selected for the MSU Hall of Fame. John served as SA President, and he was elected Mr. MSU his senior year. Lesley and John are overjoyed at the opportunity to give back to a university that so generously gave to them and that so profoundly impacted the trajectory of their lives.
